Master Chief Theo Iman

Master Chief Petty Officer Theo Iman, a native of Manila, Philippines, immigrated to the United States in 1995 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in January 1997. He completed boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, and aviation support equipment technician  “A” school in Pensacola, Florida. His first assignment was Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department in Lemoore, California. Iman was promoted to petty officer third class through the Accelerated Advancement Program.

His sea assignments include USS Peleliu (LHA 5); USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76); and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).

His ashore assignments include Fleet Activities Okinawa; Fleet Readiness Center Southwest in San Diego; Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 24; and departmental leading chief petty officer, at Center for Naval Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) North Island, in San Diego.

He currently serves as senior enlisted leader CNATTU North Island.

His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (three awards) and various unit, campaign and service awards.
