Mr. Jeffrey G. Jordan

Mr. Jordan, a native of Camarillo, California, was born in San Diego, California, and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1984 as a builder constructionman and was promoted to chief petty officer in 1992. He was commissioned as an ensign in the Civil Engineer Corps through the limited duty officer program in 2000.

Jordan’s 30-year naval career includes assignments as company commander of 13 Seabee journeyman and specialized schools at the Naval Construction Training Center; officer in charge of expeditionary field training exercises, recommending certification of Naval Construction Force units as “Ready to Deploy” with 31st Seabee Readiness Group; battalion training officer and air detachment officer, earning the Battle “E” Efficiency Award with deployments to Afghanistan and Guam at Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40; and division officer for Seabee readiness, instructing senior enlisted and officers courses at the accession, journeyman, and master level at the Civil Engineer Corps Officers School (CECOS) at Port Hueneme, California.

After retiring at the rank of Lt. Cmdr., Jordan served as a training project manager for General Dynamics Information Technology; learning program manager for Technical Software Service Incorporated; and resourcing division officer and director for functional integration management at Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE), where he oversaw the planning, programming, and integration of fleet training requirements into the CSFE domain.

He assumed the responsibilities of the executive director of CSFE on March 28, 2022.  In this position he is responsible for the operation, supervision, and management of six  command directorates and four learning sites executing annual training delivery for 15,000 inter-service enlisted and officer students with an anuual budget exceeding $30 million. His specific duties include development and implementation of the command strategic plan, synchronizion of command priorities and objectives, managing civilian personnel programs and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Jordan is the chairman for the CSFE Resource and Training Integration Committee, Performance Awards Review Board, and Civilian Awards Board.  He holds a Bachelors of Science in organization management and leadership from the University of La Verne located in California.
