Lieutenant Commander Jeremy Lord

Lt. Cmdr. Jeremy Lord, a native of Leo, Indiana, graduated from Oregon State University in June 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Radiation Health Physics. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in 2019. Lord received his commission via the Seaman to Admiral-21 (STA-21) program.

At sea, his first tour was aboard USS Philadelphia (SSN 690) as the electrical officer, assistant operations officer, damage control assistant, and diving officer, completing a deployment and an inactivation availability with decommissioning. He also served as the strategic weapons officer aboard USS Nevada (SSBN 733)(BLUE) from 2014 to 2017, where he completed four strategic deterrent patrols and was awarded the Battle Efficiency “E” for Submarine Squadron (SUBRON) 17 in 2015.

His shore assignments include assistant professor of naval science at Florida A&M University NROTC and strategic weapons officer at SUBRON 20.

Lord currently serves as the executive officer of Trident Training Facility, Kings Bay, Georgia.

His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various other awards.
