PLEASE READ YOUR ORDERS FOR SPECIFIC REPORTING INFORMATION
 
This is information for students attending classes at these commands with training locations at Naval Air Station Oceana and the Dam Neck Annex:

STUDENTS WHOSE ORDERS READ:  STU CNATTU, DAM NECK, VIRGINIA BEACH, VA
 
AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS
 
Report to the duty office in Building 223, Room 149 at Naval Air Station Oceana to get your orders stamped. You will then report to the student control office the next normal working day at 0700.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
 
Report to the student control office in Building 223, Room 130 at Naval Air Station Oceana upon arrival. You must be in possession of your records and orders.
 
The uniform for newly reporting Navy personnel is Service Dress.

The uniform for Marine personnel is "Alpha."

If there are any questions, please call student control Monday-Friday 0700 – 1600, (757) 433-2828. After working hours, please call the assistant command duty officer at (757) 433-3362.
 
RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT (ROM) REQUIREMENTS
 
Students are required to conduct a ROM period if reporting out of the local area. All students are required to follow COVID-19 precautions directed by NAVNORTHFRAGORD, CNIC, NETC and CNATTU.

STUDENTS WHOSE ORDERS READ:  STU CSCS UNIT DAM NECK VIRGINIA BEACH, VA
 
If checking in AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS, or on weekends or holidays, report to 472 Polaris Avenue, Raborn Hall, Bldg. 586 at Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex, Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) Unit Dam Neck quarterdeck, (757) 492-0730, uniform of the day to have your orders stamped.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
 
Student check-ins are conducted at the Raborn Hall, Bldg. 586 2nd Deck RM 265, Gold Room Auditorium, at Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex, commencing every Monday at 0630.  All students are required to check-in in uniform of the day. The physical address on Dam Neck Annex is 472 Polaris Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA, 23461.  From the main gate, make your first immediate right on Terrier Ave, proceed straight until you get to Polaris Ave, and then make a right. Raborn Hall is the last building on the right side, across from the Fire Station.

The CSCS quarterdeck will provide directions on where to check into barracks as well as guidance on ROM. If unable to check in with CSCS Unit Dam Neck quarterdeck, please contact the CSCS Unit Dam Neck command duty officer at (757) 353-2910. You will then report to the CSCS Dam Neck Student Management Office, Bldg. 586, room 230 on the first normal work day NLT 0630.

CSCS Unit Dam Neck Student Management Office personnel will provide several forms for you to fill out. Ensure you have your original orders and at least two copies with you. A base map will be provided with directions to the classroom.
 
Stand-by students, check in with CSCS Unit Dam Neck Student Management Office, and CSCS Unit Dam Neck will coordinate with the respective course supervisors for availability of stand-by quotas.

Students on PCS or TAD orders of more than 30 days are required to bring their medical and dental records to check-in. A medical and dental representative and a health benefits advisor will be on site to collect/screen the records and determine appropriate Tricare Enrollment Plan.


If you have follow-on orders to sea duty, an overseas duty station or any assignment requiring a special screening, you should have completed the requirements at your last permanent duty station. If you have not completed your overseas, operational duty or special program screening, notify student management personnel immediately.

ACCESS

For classified courses, Command Security (COMSEC) personnel will verify security clearances and issue badges during check-in. If clearance information was not received prior to arrival, COMSEC personnel will screen for badge issuance Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). Clearance requests should be sent via JPAS to the Security Management Office Code N438886. Due to Personally Identifiable Information concerns, faxed information is no longer accepted. All students must report with orders for badge issuance.

STUDENTS WHOSE ORDERS READ:  STU IWTC, DAM NECK VIRGINIA BEACH, VA
 
AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS OR ON WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS
 
Report to Layton Hall, Bldg. 420 quarterdeck on Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex (Address: 2088 Regulus Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23461), and contact office of the deck (OOD) at (757) 492-0001 or (757) 492-0002. Inform OOD if a duty driver is required for pick up from the airport. Students will ensure they have a copy of their orders, ID, and complete the check-in package. Check in with IWTC Virginia Beach Student Management on the next working day.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
Students check in NLT 0630, Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex, Layton Hall, Bldg. 420 quarterdeck (Address: 2088 Regulus Ave, Virginia Beach, VA, 23461), and contact OOD at (757) 492-0001 or (757) 492-0002. Students on PCS or TAD orders of more than 30 days are required to bring their medical and dental records.  The IWTC Student Management Office can be reached from 0700-1630, (757) 492-0044 or IWTC_VB_N9_StudentManagement@navy.mil for questions or concerns.

Report per CANTRAC guidance for first day of course.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
 
Students should check in at 0815 in Walker Hall Bldg. 199, Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex located at 1905 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23460. Park in designated student parking which is south of Bldg. 199. Use the main entrance on the east side of the building. The uniform of the day is working uniform. Please make sure to check the NLEC website at https://www.netc.navy.mil/NLEC/  and/or call (757) 492-5722 if you have any concerns.
