Commander Clementson graduated from Quincy University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1997. He earned a commission from Officer Candidates School in 2000. After attending Aviation Maintenance Officer Training at CNATT DET Whiting field in, Milton Fla., he crossed the world to join Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD), Naval Air Station Atsugi, Japan, where he served as the Support Equipment Division Officer and the Quality Assurance Officer.

In 2006 he reported to Naval Air Station Oceana’s Strike Fighter Squadron Two Thirteen (VF-213) where he first served as the Material Control Officer and helped transition the “Black Lions” to the Strike Fighter Attack (VFA-213) F-18F Super Hornet. During this tour he also performed as the Assistant Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Material Control Officer.

In 2009 he reported to NAS China Lake, Calif., where he checked into Air TEVRON Nine (VX-9) and served as the Maintenance Material Control Officer and Assistant Maintenance Officer for six type model series platforms.

In 2010 his next assignment took him to Monterrey, Calif., where he checked into the Naval Post Graduate School and earned his Master of Business Administration and Logistics.

In 2012, he joined the Defense Contract Management Agency Head Quarters in Fort Lee, Va. There he served as the Contingency Contract Administrative Support (CCAS) Manpower and Deployment Manger for 300 joint military and civilian billets that directly supported joint bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.

In 2014 he reported to USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), Naval Air Base Norfolk, Va., as the AIMD Production Officer and Assistant Maintenance Officer. During his time he completed a nine month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve and Active Endeavor.

In 2016 he reported to Strike Fighter Attack Squadron One Zero One (VFA-101) “Grim Reapers” as the Quality Assurance Officer and the Assistant Maintenance Officer. While attached to the Grim Reapers he helped the Navy’s 6th generation war fighter complete critical milestone events.

He is certified in Level III Production and Quality Management from Defense Acquisition University.

His awards include the Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (fifth award), Navy Achievement Medal, as well as numerous personal, unit and campaign awards.
