Welcome to

Lemoore, CA

Lemoore is a rapidly growing community, with a current population of 22,000+ and is located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, between San Francisco and Los Angeles. It is home to the Lemoore Naval Air Station, a modern Master Jet Base. Lemoore offers six parks, numerous youth activities including a teen center and Skate Park, 18-hole golf course, and many other recreational opportunities. Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks, as well as the scenic Central Coast are all within a two-hour drive.

NAS Lemoore, the Navy's west coast Master Jet Air Station, is located in the center of California's farm country. The Pacific Strike Fighter Wing with its supporting facilities are home ported here. Located in a rich agricultural area, NAS Lemoore offers Sailors, Marines, and Civilians a small hometown atmosphere of rural America. Yet surrounding Lemoore are California's playgrounds - Los Angeles, San Francisco, the Sierra Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

In the summer months, Lemoore is hot and dry with cloudless skies. The temperature often rises above 100 degrees; however, humidity usually stays a low 25 percent. Thick, wet fog starts to roll in during November and blankets the valley until January.
