PURPOSE:
To produce sailors with the basic job skills and knowledge which will enable them to perform satisfactorily under limited supervision in any Aviation Squadron environment. Additionally, students will receive Corrosion Control training to meet the minimum requirements of OPNAVINST. 4790.2 Series. The school will reinforce tasks and allow the students to identify with the aviation community and gain a feeling of belonging to a professional organization.
SCOPE:
Instruction includes Knowledge of: Corrosion Control, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program, Maintenance Operations Manuals, Basic Aviation Systems/Electromagnetic Interference, Naval Air Stations/Squadrons.
