PURPOSE:
This course is designed to provide U.S. Marine Corps personnel with the basic knowledge and skills training required to perform as Marine Air Traffic Control Navigational Aids Technicians. Graduates of this course will perform intermediate level maintenance, under all operating conditions, with appropriate supervision, on the AN/TPN-30A at Marine Air Stations or Marine Air Traffic Control Detachments.
SCOPE:
This course provides detailed technical instruction on theory of operation, analog and digital circuit analysis, safety practices, preventive and corrective maintenance, alignments procedures, and troubleshooting techniques to the lowest repairable module, circuit card, or component level as directed by SM&R codes for the AN/TPN-30A. This course includes siting, installation and test equipment used with the AN/TPN-30A.

ASVAB=EL-105 and

OTHER=1. Normal color perception.
