PURPOSE:
To provide the Aircrew Survival Equipmentman (USN E-4 and above/USMC E-5 and above), the skills necessary to perform the maintenance and repair of sewing machines in the naval inventory, both the organizational and intermediate level maintenance.
SCOPE:
All students receive technical knowledge and skill training necessary to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot light, medium, and heavy weight sewing machines.
