PURPOSE:
This course is designed to provide selected Navy and Marine Corps personnel with the basic knowledge and skills in the field of environmental systems operation, maintenance and safety. This knowledge will enable them to perform at fleet and shore activities, performing organizational maintenance task under all operating conditions with appropriate supervision.
SCOPE:
Course introduction and instruction, Aircraft Publications, Aircraft Liquid, OBOGS and Gaseous Oxygen Systems, Aircraft Airconditioning and Pressurization Systems, Utility systems, Introduction to Egress/Canopy Systems and Aircraft Corrosion Control.
PREREQUISITES:
ASVAB=a. Navy: AR+MC+AS=164.
b. Marine Corps: MM=105 ASVAB Version 11 thru 18, AR+MC+SI=164. and
