PURPOSE:
To provide designated personnel, E4 through E9 and selected DOD personnel, with advanced training in Type C Mark 13 MOD 0 and MOD 1/2 Catapults. Additionally, the course will provide the minimum technical knowledge and guidance needed to perform at the level of work center supervisor.
SCOPE:
Familiarization of the ALRE chain of command, Aviation Support System, measuring devices, hydraulics, sealing devices, hydraulic devices, electrical devices, aperture cards, manuals and publications, PMS and MDS, QA concept, safety precautions and the operations of the C13 MOD 0 and MOD 1/2 Catapults.
