PURPOSE:
To provide selected USMC personnel with technical instruction in the installation, operation, maintenance, inspection and field testing procedures of Marine Corps Expeditionary Airfield components and aircraft recovery equipment.
SCOPE:
This course consists of detailed instruction of the procedures and components that comprise VTOL/VSTOL, EAF's and Logistical EAF's, optical landing system and support equipment, the M-21 expeditionary arresting gear, E-28 and E-5 emergency shore based arresting gear; utilization of all technical publications associated with Marine Corps expeditionary airfields and aircraft recovery systems.
