  • Purpose
    • - Provide the fundamental skills and practical knowledge necessary to assume responsibilities for management of engineering tasks associated with
      • Research and Development (R&D)
      • Design
      • Acquisition
      • Construction
      • Maintenance and modernization of ships and systems (NAVSEAINST 5400.56E (10APR2009).
    • - More significantly for this class is that we now have equivalency for ACQ 101 & ACQ 202/203. For almost all ED’s, these courses are required for you to get certified under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).

    • - 5 week course length (2 weeks for Reserve Component)
    • - Mix of Staff and Visiting Instructors
    • - ACQ 101 and ACQ 202/203 Equivalency (Active Component only)
