ODS students participate in Memorial Day ceremony

220530-N-WT203-0002 NEWPORT, R.I. (May 30, 2022) Students from Officer Development School (ODS) class 22050 salute the colors at a Memorial Day remembrance ceremony hosted by the Newport, R.I. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 406. The Strewing of Flowers ceremony paid tribute to those who lost their lives at sea in service to their country. The five-week ODS program is a subset of Officer Training Command Newport (OTCN) and prepares staff corps officers and several restricted line designators to function in their role as newly commissioned Naval officers.
