Lieutenant Commander Randall Hendricks

Lt. Cmdr. Randall Hendricks, a native of Muncie, Indiana, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2002.  He served as an aviation electrician’s mate and C-2A Greyhound aircrewman. He graduated from Ball State University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications. He was commissioned from Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, in November 2007, and following flight school in Pensacola, Florida, he served as a naval flight officer.  Hendricks has a master’s degree in Business Administration and earned a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.

His tours as an officer include serving as an instructor and mission commander at Patrol Squadron (VP) 8 stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida; deputy director of officer accessions for Navy Recruiting Command headquarters in Millington, Tennessee; assistant strike operations officer aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) based at Bremerton, Washington; and executive officer for the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard in Washington, D.C.

Hendricks currently serves as the officer in charge, Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Detachment Point Mugu, California.

His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and numerous deployment and unit and service awards.
