Command Master Chief Christian Gill

Master Chief Christian Gill enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1999 and completed recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, followed by Information Systems Technician "A" School and Second-Class Dive School at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) in July 2000. He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 218 Brown).

Throughout his career, Master Chief Gill has served in a variety of challenging operational assignments, including Seal Delivery Vehicle Team One, USS SALVOR (ARS-52), Naval Special Warfare Unit Two, and Naval Special Warfare Development Group. These tours provided him with invaluable experience in diving operations, salvage techniques, and supporting Naval Special Warfare missions. 

Ashore he served as a First Class Diver at Norfolk Naval Shipyard and Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center fixing ships to fight. 

As a Senior Enlisted Leader, Master Chief Gill has made significant contributions to the training and development of Sailors in the special operations community. He has served at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, and the Center for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Diving (CENEODDIVE), where he has mentored countless Sailors and helped shape the future of the Navy's diving community.

He is qualified as a Naval Master Diver, Diving Salvage Warfare Specialist, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist. His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), and numerous unit awards.
