KINGS BAY, Ga. The Trident Training Facility Kings Bay (TTFKB) mission is to train officers and enlisted personnel in the necessary knowledge and skills required to build competence and proficiency in operating and maintaining the Trident submarine and all associated systems.

TTFKB provides replacement, conversion, advanced and team training to Trident submarine crews and submarine personnel to increase and maintain specific skills; and provide specialized training as directed by higher authority.

Through modernized training, the TTFKB ensures that submariners and crews remain ready to meet today’s challenge while building highly skilled and technically proficient warfighters.

TTFKB is located at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, and reports to Submarine Learning Center.

Mission

The Trident Training Facility Kings Bay mission is management of three major functions:
  • TTFKB train Sailors in the skills necessary to operate and maintain Trident ballistic missile submarines and guided missile submarines and systems.
  • Through modernized training, the TTFKB ensures that submariners and crews remain ready to meet today’s challenge while building highly skilled and technically proficient warfighters.
  • The submarine training provided at TTFKB ensures that submariners remain ready to meet current challenges while building relevant and capable warfighting readiness.
