With a specialized focus on language training, our students attend the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center at the Army’s Presidio of Monterey.

We are also in charge of Information Warfare Training Command Monterey Detachment Goodfellow.

We provide a continuum of foreign language training to Navy personnel that prepares them to conduct information warfare across the full spectrum of military operations.

To train and develop Navy language professionals, capable of conducting full spectrum cyber, information warfare, and intelligence missions across the entire range of military operations.

By exerting leadership, mentorship, and instructional expertise, we develop Sailors with the skill proficiency and toughness to help our Navy and Nation preserve peace and, when necessary, to fight and win.
