Lt. Stephanie J. Rose, a native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, graduated in 2013 from the University of North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and earned her commission through Officer Candidate School.
 
Upon graduation from the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program Management School at Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Detachment Whiting Field, she served as the material control officer and quality assurance officer with Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 143, where she deployed with Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW 7) in support of Operations Freedom’s Sentinel and Inherent Resolve. She then served as the aircraft division officer and the avionics/armament division officer aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN) 72.  
 
She reported to CNATT Detachment Eglin Air Force Base as assistant officer in charge in November 2023.
 
Her personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit, campaign awards and service awards. She also obtained the Professional Aviation Maintenance Officer designation.
