Master Chief Aviation Electronics Technician William V. Antweiler, a native of Williamsburg, Missouri, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in July 2002. He completed recruit training at Great Lakes, Illinois, in September 2002. Upon completion of basic training, he attended Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) A-School at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Florida.
His sea assignments include: USS Enterprise (CVN 65); forward deployed to 2515th Air Ambulance Detachment Kuwait and USNS Alan B. Shepard (T-AKE 3); USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77); USS Truxtun (DDG- 03); USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75); USS Mason (DDG-87); USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72); and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69).
His shore assignments include: H-60 C-School at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATT) Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida; Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 10 in San Diego, California; stationed with HS-11; Helicopter Sea Squadron (HSC) 25 at Guam; Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 70, and HSM -74, NAS Jacksonville, Florida.
Antweiler currently serves as senior enlisted leader of CNATTU Jacksonville.
His personal awards includes the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (ten awards), Army Achievement Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Combat Action, and numerous other personal and unit awards.
