Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Unit New River is located at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina.

Mission

To provide the best possible technical training to enlisted personnel in the operational maintenance and repair of aeronautical equipment and systems, in response to fleet requirements.

Vision

To provide mentorship and professional development of Marines, Sailors, and Airmen, preparing them for the challenges associated with leadership and responsibility.

Reporting

All personnel reporting to CNATT Unit New River during normal working hours must report to S-1 in AS-312. For after-hours reporting, all personnel must report to the squadron duty officer in AS-312 and then will report to the administrative office the next normal working day at 7 a.m. All reporting personnel must be in possession of records and original orders.

The uniform for newly reporting Navy personnel is Service Dress.

The uniform for Marine personnel is "Service Alphas."
