Senior Chief Scott C. Henske

 
 
Senior Chief Henske. a native of Winfield, Ill., enlisted in the U.S. Navy June, 2000. After basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill., he attended Equipment Operator “A” School at Naval Construction Training Center, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He received an associates degree in General Studies in January 2018 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in May 2022 from the University of LaVerne, Calif. 

His operational assignments include the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 in Gulfport, Miss. as an equipment operator; Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Development Group as NSW support; Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 assigned as a company operations chief; detail San Clemente as the assistant officer in charge; and Strategic Communications Wing One as the mobility department senior enlisted leader.  

His shore assignments include Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering Detachment, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., where he served as operations chief; Naval Mobile Construction Battalion-22, where he served as the reserve site supervisor and led the unit in a homeport shift from Fort Worth, Texas to Port Hueneme, Calif. where he served as the reserve site supervisor lead chief petty officer.

Senior Chief Henske reported to Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering Detachment as the senior enlisted leader in February, 2023.

His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), Presidential Unit Citation, Battle “E” Ribbon (five awards), Good Conduct Medal (six awards), National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Service Medal (two awards), Iraqi Campaign Medal (two awards), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (ten awards), Expert Marksman Rifle and Expert Marksman Pistol Medals.
