Our Accreditation

The Center for Security Forces is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. The COE is a non-profit, volunteer membership, and nationally recognized accrediting agency that came into existence in 1971. According to the COE website, its mission is "assuring quality and integrity in career and technical education" by evaluating organizations against the standards and criteria established by the COE, which ensures the quality of instruction and its governing programs. To learn more about the COE, visit, www.council.org, or contact them at: Council on Occupational Education, 7840 Roswell Road, Building 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, GA 30350, Telephone: 770-396-3898.

The U.S. Navy's Master-at-Arms "A" or Apprenticeship School and the Law Enforcement Specialist "C" or Journeyman School are accredited by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Board. A FLETA accreditation enhances public confidence in integrity, professionalism, and accountability, and provides assurance that an academic program has voluntarily submitted to a self-regulated process and demonstrates compliance with a set of standards established by the law enforcement community. To learn more about FLETA, visit www.fleta.gov, or contact them at: 1131 Chapel Crossing Road, Townhouse 383, Glynco, Georgia 31524, Telephone: 912.261.3684.
