Command Master Chief Briana L. Ridlon

Command Master Chief Briana Ridlon, a native of San Mateo, California, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2005, and after completing boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, she reported to her first command where she was selected for the Legalman (LN) rating and attended LN “A” School.  Ridlon has a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Liberty University. She is a graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 24080) and Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 224). 

Her operational assignments include USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76).  

Ashore, she served at Personnel Support Activity, Patuxent River; Naval Consolidated Brigade, Charleston; Special Operations Command Korea; Office of the Judge Advocate General; and Navy Personnel Command. 

Ridlon reported to Surface Combat Systems Training Command AEGIS Training and Readiness Center as the senior enlisted leader in May 2024.

Her personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), and various campaign and service awards.
