Command Master Chief Muhammad Habeebul-Lah

Command Master Chief Muhammad Habeebul-Lah is a native of Danville, Virginia.  He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2002 and reported to basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois.  Following basic training, he attended Aviation Machinist Mate “A” School in Pensacola, Florida and T-56 Turboprop “C” School at Naval Air Station Point Mugu in Oxnard, California.  He is a graduate of the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course Class 24140 and Senior Enlisted Academy Class 256/Gold Group.  

Assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 31, Habeebul-Lah served aboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and qualified as a collateral duty inspector.  Additional sea duty included service aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) as a quality assurance representative; USS Wasp (LHD 1) as safety officer and safety manager assistant; and USS Devastator (MCM 6) as senior enlisted leader.

Ashore, he served at Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment onboard Naval Air Facility Misawa; Pre-trial Confinement Facility Yokosuka, Japan; Naval Test Wing Atlantic; and Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23 as senior enlisted leader. 

Habeebul-Lah reported as senior enlisted leader, Surface Combat Systems Training Command AEGIS Training and Readiness Center in October 2025.

His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
