Student Information

Surface Combat Systems Training Command San Diego (SCSTC SD) teaches courses onboard both Naval Base Point Loma (formerly known as Fleet ASW Base) at Harbor Drive Annex and Naval Base San Diego at 32nd Street “Dry Side.”  Our Harbor Drive Annex quarterdeck is manned 24/7 and can assist with rides from the airport, stamping orders and getting a barracks room for either base. The quarterdeck can be reached 24/7 at 619-524-1689.

If you are flying, find the U.S. Service Organization (USO) located outside Terminal 2 and they can assist in the coordination of travel to the base by calling the SCSTC SD quarterdeck.  A duty driver will pick up and drive to the base.  If the USO is closed, there is signage with the quarterdeck phone number to call and arrange transportation (also see above). If commercial means are used, you will be reimbursed for transportation expenses when you process your travel claim as long as you keep your receipt. If you need to provide driving directions, the Harbor Drive Annex main gate is located at the intersection of Laning Road and North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA, 92147-5199.  Once you enter the base, to get to the SCSTC SD quarterdeck, follow the fence line to the right until you reach Gallery Hall (Building 11) on Destroyer Lane. The Officer of the Deck (OOD) will greet you at the quarterdeck.
