AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS OR ON WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS
 
Report to Bldg. SP-381 Quarterdeck, 9287 Seventh Ave. Norfolk, VA 23511, Naval Station Norfolk. Duty Phone Number: (757) 445-1767. Student Affairs Phone Number: (757) 445-1794. CDO Phone Number: (757) 343-2299, uniform of the day to have your orders stamped. The CNATTU quarterdeck will provide directions on where to check into barracks.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
 
Student check-ins are conducted at the CNATTU Bldg. SP-381 2nd Deck RM 201, commencing every Monday at 0630.  All students are required to report in uniform of the day.

RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT (ROM)  REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to conduct a ROM period if reporting out of the local area. All students are required to follow COVID-19 precautions directed by NAVNORTHFRAGORD, CNIC, NETC and CNATTU.

 

STUDENTS WHOSE ORDERS READ:  STU CSCS UNIT NORFOLK, VA
 
If checking in to CSCS Unit Norfolk AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS, or on weekends or holidays, report to Bldg. X-2, Willis Manor, 9712 Virginia Ave., CSCS Unit Norfolk, VA 23511, Naval Station Norfolk, to receive lodging or an approved Certificate of Non-Availability (CAN), uniform of the day, orders will be stamped upon check-in during normal working hours and backdated with proof of lodging. Call the CSCS Unit Norfolk admin duty phone, (757) 439-0786 with any issues regarding check-in.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
 
Student check-in is conducted in Bldg. IE 1st Deck RM 15, at 0730 M-F.  Bldg. IE’s physical address is 1680 Gilbert St. Norfolk, VA 23511 at Naval Station Norfolk.  All students are required to check-in in the uniform of the day.  From gate two, turn right onto Gilbert St. then make a left onto Bacon St. where parking is available in the back of BLDG IE.
 
CSCS Unit Norfolk Student Management Office personnel will provide several forms for you to fill out. Ensure you have your original orders and at least two copies with you. A base map will be provided with directions to the classroom.

Stand-by students, check in with CSCS Unit Norfolk Student Management Office, and CSCS Unit Norfolk will coordinate with the respective course supervisors for availability of stand-by quotas.

Students on PCS or TAD orders of more than 30 days are required to bring their medical and dental records to check-in. A medical and dental representative and a health benefits advisor will be on site to collect/screen the records and determine appropriate Tricare Enrollment Plan.

If you have follow-on orders to sea duty, an overseas duty station or any assignment requiring a special screening, you should have completed those requirements at your last permanent duty station. If you have not completed your overseas, operational duty or special program screening, notify student management personnel immediately upon check-in.

ACCESS

For classified courses, command security (COMSEC) personnel will verify security clearances and issue badges during check-in. To ensure a smooth process commands should ensure that their students are enrolled in courses correctly in CeTARS for the course they are scheduled to attend. If students are missing security information, our Security personnel will screen for badge issuance via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). Due to Personally Identifiable Information concerns, faxed information is no longer accepted. All students must report with orders for badge issuance.

 

STUDENTS WHOSE ORDERS READ:  STU IWTC, NORFOLK, VA
 
AFTER NORMAL WORKING HOURS OR ON WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS
 
Students report to Layton Hall, Bldg. 420 quarterdeck (Address: 2088 Regulus Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23461, at Naval Air Station Oceana Dam Neck Annex), and contact OOD at (757) 492-0001 (757) 492-0002. Inform OOD if a duty driver is required for pick up from the airport. Students will ensure they have a copy of their orders, ID, and complete the check-in package. Check in with IWTC Virginia Beach Student Management on the next working day.
 
DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
ATG Courses – Students will check in NLT 0730 to Afloat Training Group (ATG) Atlantic, Bldg. CEP 183 (Address: 8952 First Street, Norfolk, VA 23505 at Naval Station Norfolk). Uniform: Students report for training in Navy Service Uniform or Navy Working Uniform. Students coming from the local Hampton Roads area (within 50 miles), should report to the classroom on the first day of the course convening. If reporting earlier than the class convening date or ROM please contact Student Admin at (757) 341-6049 Mon-Fri 0700-1500 or (401) 862-2404.

NSSATC COURSES CONVENING ON NAVAL STATION NORFOLK
 
Report per CANTRAC guidance for first day of course.
 
The Student Management Office or CDO will provide PCS students several forms to complete.  Ensure you have original orders and at least two copies with you. Email NSSATC_DMNKSTUDENTMGT@navy.mil or NSSATC_DMNKCDO@navy.mil to request paperwork in advance.

Stand-by students, check in with the Student Management Office and the staff will coordinate with the respective course point of contact for availability of stand-by quotas.
