Lt. Cmdr. Shaun Page, a native of Dallas, Georgia, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1997, completing Fire Controlman “A” School, AEGIS weapon system and SPY-1 radar “C” School. He was promoted through the ranks to chief petty officer prior to being commissioned ensign under the Limited Duty Officer Program (LDO) in 2009.
Page’s enlisted tours of duty include service aboard USS Bunker Hill (CG 52) and USS Decatur (DDG 73). Ashore he served as a correctional officer at Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar, San Diego, California.
After commissioning, his sea duty assignments include service aboard USS Kidd (DDG 100) deployed to U.S. 5th and U.S. 7th Fleets in support of anti-piracy operations for Combined Task Force 151; USS Bunker (CG 52) providing air defense for carrier strike group in U.S. 5th Fleet; and USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) deploying in support of carrier operations in U.S. 7th and U.S. 4th Fleets.
Page’s shore tours include Commander, Surface Division 11, San Diego, California, as C5I department head supporting the Littoral Combat Ship program.
He reported as executive officer, Surface Warfare Officers School Unit Great Lakes in September 2019.
Page’s awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and various campaign medals.
