Lieutenant Commander Mark T. Wilson

Lt. Cmdr. Wilson, a native of Matthews, North Carolina, graduated in 2009 from Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and received a commission through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps as a student naval flight officer. He redesignated as a human resources officer in 2011. In 2016, he completed his Master of Business Administration in Financial Management and Joint Professional Military Education Phase 1 at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. 

Wilson served as operations officer at San Juan Military Entrance Processing Station, Puerto Rico through 2015. Working in this joint environment, he personally enlisted over 8,000 personnel into the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, National Guard, Air Force, and Coast Guard. 

While assigned to Navy Personnel Command, Wilson served in PERS-833 (Post-Selection Board Matters) and PERS-832 (Enlisted Separations), earning his proven Manpower Systems Analysis subspecialty. 

He reported as executive officer of Naval Technical Training Center Meridian in June 2020. 

His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and various other personal and unit awards. 

He is certified as a Professional in Human Resources and is a Navy Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
