Lieutenant Commander Drew Lichtenstein

Lt. Cmdr. Lichtenstein, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in System Engineering in 2006.
 
At sea, he served as the submarine watch officer aboard USS Georgia (SSGN 729); weapons officer aboard USS Columbus (SSN 762); and operations officer aboard USS Hyman G. Rickover (SSN 795).
 
Lichtenstein’s shore tours include as submarine watch officer for Submarine Group 7; protocol officer for Commander, Naval Forces Japan; and military assistant for Commander, Submarines NATO in 2018.
 
He currently serves as executive officer of Trident Training Facility Bangor.
 
Lichtenstein’s personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards).
