Command Master Chief Baron Randle

Command Master Chief Baron Randle is a native of Houston, Texas.  After graduating from Ross Shaw Sterling High School in 1989, he joined the Navy and completed both recruit training and seaman apprenticeship training in San Diego, California.
 
Randle has served aboard various ships including the guided-missile frigate USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60), aircraft carrier USS Independence (CV 62), coastal minehunter USS Robin (MHC 54), and guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54). He also served as command master chief aboard the guided-missile frigate USS Halyburton (FFG 40) and guided-missile destroyer USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51).
 
Randle’s shore assignments include Navy Recruiting Station Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Navy Recruiting Station, Waukesha, Wisconsin where he won awards of Large and Medium Stations of the Year; Center for Surface Combat Systems Unit Great Lakes, detachment technical training officer for Signalman/Quartermaster “A” School; Assault Craft Unit 2; U.S. Fleet Forces Fleet Chief Petty Officer Training Team;  Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic staff command master chief; Naval Safety Center flag command master chief; and deputy director, U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy. Randle currently serves as director, U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy.
 
Randle has earned certificates, degrees and Navy Enlisted Classifications (NECs) from the following institutions and programs:  Career Information Program Manager Course; Navy Recruiter Canvasser; Master Training Specialist; U.S. Army 120-hour Landing Craft Utility 1600 Class Craft Master Course; U.S. Army 40-hour program in Automatic Radar Plotting Aid;, U.S. Army 74-hour program in Marine Radar Observer (Unlimited) in Fort Eustis, Virginia; Senior Enlisted Academy Class 143 (Blue); Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Leadership Course; Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education; National Defense University Keystone Course 16-1; and MCPON’s Executive Leadership Symposium.
 
Randle holds a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development (cum laude) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois.
 
Randle’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (nine awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various service and campaign awards.
