Fire Controlman Senior Chief Ryan K. Patricio

Fire Controlman Senior Chief Patricio, a native of Waipahu, Hawaii, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 2005.  After completing Fire Controlman “A” School in Great Lakes, Illinois, he graduated from Close-In Weapons System (CIWS) “C” School in San Diego, California, top of his class and as the distinguished honor graduate. 
 
At sea, he served aboard USS Dubuque (LPD 8) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) homeported at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  Patricio also served at the Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment West, San Diego. 
 
On Nov. 15, 2020, Patricio reported to Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA) as ship transfer officer.  Shortly after, he assumed the NETSAFA International Training Center senior enlisted leader role as well as the international military student officer position.  He expertly manages the crucially important administrative aspect of the schoolhouse of 300+ international military students coordinating travel booking, housing, medical care and Field Studies Program events.
