Lieutenant Commander Casey Rogers

Lt. Cmdr. Rogers, a native of Dallas, Texas, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1998 and earned his commission through the Seaman to Admiral-21 Program in 2009 from Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2014.
 
His operational tours include gunner’s mate aboard USS Deyo (DD 989); operational deployments while attached to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 6 in Charleston, South Carolina; platoon and company commander tours to Iraq and Afghanistan with EODMU 12; and officer in charge (OIC) of EODMU 12 Detachment Newport.
 
Rogers’ staff tours include underwater division OIC at Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD); Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations officer for Commander, Task Force (CTF) 68 in Rota, Spain; and assistant program manager at U.S. Special Operations Command.
 
He currently serves as executive officer for NAVSCOLEOD.
 
He has earned designation as an EOD officer, a naval parachutist, and Level II program manager. His personal decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with “V” device, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and various other service and campaign awards.
