Lieutenant Commander Eric Lardizabal

Lt. Cmdr. Eric Lardizabal, a native of Seattle, Washington, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1999.  He received his commission through the Seaman to Admiral 21 (STA-21) program and graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2007. 

At sea, he served as a division officer aboard USS Nebraska (SSBN 739) (Blue) and as combat systems officer on USS Olympia (SSN 717). His notable shore assignments include tours as a shift engineer and chemistry and radiological controls assistant at Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston, and tactics officer at Submarine Squadron 1.
