Master Chief Jeremy R. Rasnick

Master Chief Fire Controlman (AEGIS) Jeremy R. Rasnick is a native of Melbourne, Florida. He enlisted in the Navy’s Advanced Electronics Computer Field immediately following graduation from high school in June of 1996 and completed data systems technician “A” and “C” schools.
 
Rasnick completed his first sea tour aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), advancing to petty officer first class. He subsequently served aboard USS Phillipean Sea (CG 58) as CF Division leading chief petty officer and USS Milius (DDG 69) as combat systems maintenance manager and department leading chief petty officer.
 
Ashore, Rasnick has completed tours as a corrections specialist and parole officer at Naval Consolidated Brig Charleston, South Carolina, leading chief petty officer and afloat lead assessor for Ballistic Missile Defense, Anti-Air and Anti-Surface Warfare at Afloat Training Group Norfolk.  He is currently serving as the acting command master chief at Surface Warfare Schools Command, Newport, Rhode Island.
 
Rasnick’s personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), and various other service and unit awards.
