Master Chief Aubrey J. Gillespie

Master Chief Intelligence Specialist Aubrey Gillespie joined the Navy in 2005, and upon completion of basic training, she reported to the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center (NMITC), Dam Neck, Virginia, where she attended Intelligence Specialist “A” School and Imagery Interpretation “C” School.
 

Gillespie’s sea tours include USS Nassau (LHA 4), Carrier Strike Group Four and USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), all located in Norfolk, Virginia.

Her shore assignments include Information Warfare Training Center (IWTC) Dam Neck, Virginia; US Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia; and Operational Test and Evaluation Force, Norfolk, Virginia.

Gillespie is the recipient of the Rear Adm. Edwin T. Layton Award for Leadership and Mentorship and the Vice Admiral Rufus L. Taylor Award for Excellence in Intelligence Instruction. She earned her Master Training Specialist certification and is designated a specialist in surface, air, and information warfare.

Gillespie reported as senior enlisted leader for Information Warfare Training Command Virginia Beach in February 2022.
