Captain Jason C. Warner

Capt. Jason Warner is a native of Warren, Ohio and a 1995 graduate of Westminster College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He earned a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2008 and completed the Executive Program in Strategy and Organization at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was commissioned in 1998 through the U.S. Navy Officer Candidate School.

His sea duty assignments include division officer on USS Enterprise (CVN 65);  pre-commissioning supply officer on USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19); and supply officer on USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). During those tours he contributed to the Malabar and Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercises and operations Southern Watch, Deliberate Forge, and Enduring Freedom.

His shore assignments include contracting officer’s representative at the United States Naval Academy; director of Rotary Wing Contracts and director of Integrated Weapon Support Teams, Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support; aviation readiness analyst and head  of Program Objective Memorandum Development Branch, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (N80).

His joint assignments include Defense Acquisition contracting officer intern at Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime; a individual augmentee as the Manpower and Personnel Branch Chief (J-1) and theater-wide construction deputy branch chief of the Joint Contracting Command – Iraq/Afghanistan, supporting operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom; and Operational Contract Support Branch Chief and speechwriter for the Director for Logistics (J-4) The Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Warner is a member of the Defense Acquisition Professional Community and qualified joint service officer. He earned supply warfare qualifications in aviation and surface warfare.

His decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal and other personal and unit awards. He received the Admiral Eaton Award for Logistics Excellence and the Stennis Center for Public Service Leadership “Straight Furrow Award.”
