Master Chief Donovan K. Ahuna Jr.

Master Chief Donovan K. Ahuna Jr., a native of Lihue, Hawaii, joined the U.S. Navy in 2002 and attended basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. After completing recruit training, he attended aviation machinist mate “A” school aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class Gold 246) in Newport, Rhode Island.

His sea and shore assignments with Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 125, VFA 113, Fleet Readiness Center West, VFA 146, VFA 122.

Ahuna currently serves as senior enlisted advisor at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Lemoore, California.

His personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (seven awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
