Master Chief Laura T. Stout

Master Chief Cryptologic Technician Interpretive Laura T. Stout, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, enlisted in the Navy in 1997. She attended CTI “A” school in Monterey, California and “C” school at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. Stout holds an Associate of Arts in Spanish from the Defense Language Institute and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy.

Stout’s sea tours include USS Oakridge (ARDM 1) in Groton, Connecticut; USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) in San Diego, California; and as aircrew with VQ-1 and VQ-2 located on Whidbey Island, Washington.

Ashore, Stout’s assignments include Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA) Medina and Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Texas, in San Antonio, Texas; Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois; Naval Information Force Reserve in Pensacola, Florida; Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, Rhode Island;  and Chief of Naval Personnel Staff (OPNAV N13F) in Arlington, Virginia.

Stout assumed the duties as senior enlisted leader of Information Warfare Training Command Monterey November 2022.

Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Joint Meritorious Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), and various campaign and unit awards. She holds a Master Training Specialist certificate and is designated as an aircrewman and as a specialist in surface, air and information warfare.
