Rear Admiral Jeffrey Czerewko

Rear Adm. Jeffrey Czerewko, a native of Saginaw, Michigan, is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He holds a master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
 
At sea, he deployed with Attack Squadron (VA) 75 aboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65) and with Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 81 aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), both assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17. He completed his department head tour with VFA-136, attached to CVW-7 aboard USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) and USS George Washington (CVN 73). He commanded VFA-146 and deployed twice with USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) as part of CVW-9. Czerewko also commanded CVW-2 while assigned to USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) as the strike warfare commander for Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9.
 
His shore assignments include fleet replacement squadron instructor pilot, assistant safety officer, and assistant training officer while assigned to VFA-106; electronic warfare branch chief for the Joint Staff Deputy Director for Global Operations (J-39); and the resource sponsor for Naval Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Capabilities and director, Battlespace Awareness (N2N6 F2). He also stood up the Digital Warfare Office as acting director on the Navy Staff; served as chief of staff for Commander, Naval Air Forces; and completed additional tours with the Naval Special Warfare Development Group and as battle director for the Combined Air and Space Operations Center, Al Udeid, Qatar.
 
As a flag officer, Czerewko served as the deputy director for Global Operations (J-39) on the Joint Staff; director for Fleet Integrated Readiness and Analysis (N02R), U.S. Fleet Forces Command; and commander, CSG-4.
 
He became the 21st commander of the Naval Education and Training Command June 8, 2023.
 
He is the recipient of various personal awards and unit decorations and received the Navy and Marine Association Leadership Award in 2002 and 2004.
