Chief Aviation Maintenance Administrationman Christopher Allen

Chief Aviation Maintenance Administrationman Christopher Allen, a native of in Florence, South Carolina, enlisted in the Navy in 2010, and after boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Aviation Maintenance Administrationmen “A” School in Meridian, Mississippi.
 
At sea, he served as operations writer, central technical publications librarian, logs and records clerk, and phase coordinator with Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 113, deployed aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). He served as logs and records leading petty officer (LPO), maintenance admin LPO, phase coordinator, supply division leading chief petty officer, maintenance controller and Safe for Flight with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4, deployed aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).
 
Ashore, he served as support equipment manager, production controller, admin LPO, and facilities manager with Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD) Okinawa, Japan, which turned from a one work center detachment site to a small AIMD supporting three permanently deployed P-3/P-8 squadrons and all transient squadrons in U.S. 7th Fleet.
 
Allen reported to Navy Supply Corps School and joined the Joint Aviation Supply Maintenance Material Management Division in August 2022 and became senior enlisted leader in June 2023.
 
He is qualified as an enlisted aviation warfare specialist. His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards) among various other unit and campaign awards.
