Command Master Chief Howard E. Robinson

Command Master Chief Robinson, a native of Chicago, Ill, enlisted in the Navy in 1996, attending basic training at the Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL He attended Builder “A” or Apprenticeship School in Gulfport, Miss, and he is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class #189 Brown). Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Administration and an Associate of Arts in Construction Technology.
 
Robinson’s operational tours include Amphibious Construction Battalion Two (ACB 2), as his first Seabee tour, and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five (NMCB 5), serving in various positions such as Bravo Operations Chief and Battalion Safety Chief. During his tenure at NMCB 5, he deployed to Japan as the assistant officer in charge and operations Chief of Detail Sasebo, and he subsequently deployed to Afghanistan to establish Camp Natasha in the Helmand province. Additional tours include Navy Cargo Handling Battalion One; Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Four, where, during his tenure, the command was awarded the Navy Expeditionary Warfare Excellence Pennant.
 
His ashore tours include the Presidential Ceremonial Guard in Washington, D.C., and Naval Station Atsugi, Japan, where he serves as the project supervisor and operations chief. He served as the senior enlisted advisor at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Hawaii and as command master chief at the Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Heartland. During his tour with NTAG, the command was awarded the Region East Navy Recruiting District of the Year for fiscal years 2019 and 2020.
 
Robinson is the eighth Sailor to serve as the Center for Security Forces Command Master Chief. 
 
His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (2), Navy Commendation Medal (3), Navy Achievement Medal (3), and various other unit and personal awards.
 
Robinson is designated as Seabee Combat Warfare and Expeditionary Warfare Specialist.
