Command Master Chief Matthew Dupont

Command Master Chief Matthew Dupont, a native of Conifer, Colorado, enlisted in the Navy in 2002, and after boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Master-at-Arms (MA) “A” School. He has a bachelor's degree in Business and Management from Excelsior University and is pursuing his master’s in Psychology from American Military University. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and Command Leadership School.
 
His assignments as an MA include Naval Station Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico; Naval Station Rota Security Department; Naval Air Station Key West; Naval Air Station Sigonella Security Department; Naval Station Bahrain; Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo; Naval Criminal Investigation Service; USS Anchorage (LPD 23); and Naval Base San Diego Security Department.
 
Dupont reported to Information Warfare Training Command Corry Station as command master chief in January 2024.
 
He is designated a Fleet Marine Force Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Master Training Specialist. His decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), Combat Action Ribbon, and other unit and service awards.
