Master Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Jamie M. Johnson

Master Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Jamie M. Johnson, a native of New Orleans, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1998, and after boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, she attended Aviation Ordnanceman “A” School. She earned an associate degree in liberal arts in 2009 and a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2011 from Saint Leo University. She completed senior enlisted professional military education and joint professional military education. She is also a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 207 (Green). 

At sea, she served aboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65), completing a Mediterranean deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; elevator and forklift technician aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), deploying to the Mediterranean Sea; safety department leading petty officer (LPO) and weapons department armory division LPO aboard USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), completing a deployment and humanitarian service cruise; USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78); weapons department leading chief petty officer (LCPO) aboard USS Bataan (LHD 3), completing a Mediterranean deployment; and returned to Harry S. Truman as the weapons assembly division LCPO, weapons department advanced planning team leader and zone manager, and weapons department's LCPO.
 
Ashore, she served as correctional custody unit LPO, Naval Station Norfolk Brig; Ordnance Handling Safety Assist Team division officer and LCPO, Afloat Training Group Norfolk; quality assurance supervisor, Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 12.

Johnson reported to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Keesler Air Force Base as senior enlisted leader in January 2024.

Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various service and campaign awards.
