Command Master Chief Ebony L. Pinnock

Master Chief Ebony Pinnock, a native of Sacramento, California, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1998, and attended boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, a graduate certificate in Human Resources and a bachelor's degree in Business Studies. She is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 191 Green), the Command Master Chief Capstone Course (Class 159) and the Navy Senior Leader Seminar.  
 
Her operational assignments include Patrol Squadron (VP) 26; Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 140; and Naval Special Warfare Logistics and Support Unit 3. 

Her shore assignments include Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Unit Rota, Spain; Commander Electronic Attack Wing Pacific -- Aviation Support Division Whidbey Island, Washington; and Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. 
 
She served as command master chief at Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ) 7; VQ-3; and Navy Information Operations Command Pensacola. 

She reported to Naval Aviation Schools Command as command master chief in March 2024.
 
Pinnock is qualified as an enlisted aviation warfare specialist, enlisted surface warfare specialist, expeditionary warfare specialist and enlisted information warfare specialist. Her personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
