Lieutenant Shanice S. Wormley

Lt. Shanice S. Wormley, a native of Prince George's County, Maryland, graduated in 2018 from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Flight Education and earned her commission through the Hampton Roads NROTC program. 

Her operational experience includes assistant department head, instructor tactical coordinator and mission commander for Patrol Squadron (VP) 4, flying over 870 hours of Anti-Submarine Warfare and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions in the P-8A Poseidon in support of Commander Task Force (CTF) 57, CTF-67 and CTF-32. 

She reported to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Detachment Point Mugu as officer-in-charge in June 2024.

She is qualified as a naval flight officer. Her personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and campaign awards.
