Command Master Chief Michelle L. Limbrick

Command Master Chief Michelle Limbrick, a native of Houston, Texas, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2000, and after graduating from boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, she attended Fire Controlman and Master-at-Arms "A" Schools. She graduated from Purdue University Global with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She is an honor graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy.
 

At sea, she served as a fire control technician aboard USS Spruance (DD 963) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; command senior chief aboard USS Indianapolis (LCS 17) (Blue), earning the Battle Effectiveness Award and the Commander, Navy Surface Forces Atlantic Unit Tactics Award. 

Her shore tours include service with the security departments at Naval Support Activity Naples, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Submarine Base Kings Bay, Naval Station Mayport and Naval Air Station Pensacola, where she served as a patrolman, field training officer, field commander and watch commander; limited area supervisor at Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific; small arms marksmanship instructor at Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic; and an individual augmentee deployment as a member of Task Force 134, Legal Research Cell, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  

Her personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards) and various other unit awards.
