Command Master Chief Israel Pedregon

Command Master Chief Israel Pedregon, a native of Zaragoza, Mexico, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1993 and after graduating boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Aviation Machinist Mate “A” School. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 149 Brown).

His operational assignments include Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 94; Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 2; Patrol Squadron 47; maintenance master chief petty officer at VFA-95; command master chief aboard USS MUSTIN (DDG 89) and command master chief aboard USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70). He completed numerous deployments to U.S. 3rd Fleet, U.S. 5th Fleet, U.S. 6th Fleet and U.S. 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.

Ashore, he served as a recruit division commander at Navy Recruit Training Command; command master chief at Naval Air Technical Training Center; and command master chief at Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific.

He reported to Naval Leadership and Ethics Command San Diego as command master chief in October 2024.

Pedregon is qualified in aviation warfare, surface warfare, information warfare, and master training specialist. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit awards, campaign and service decorations.
