Master Chief Petty Officer Justin Heise

Master Chief Petty Officer Justin Heise, a native of Reedley, California, enlisted in the Navy in 2002. After boot camp, he attended Cryptologic Technician (Interpretive) “A” school in Monterey and is a two-time graduate of Defense Language Institute, earning Associate of Arts degrees in Korean and Thai. He graduated from the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 261 “Gold Goblins”).
 
His sea tours include multiple assignments as a naval air crewman aboard EP-3E and P-3 platforms at Navy Information Operations Command, Naval Air Facility Misawa, Japan; and Navy Information Operations Detachment, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Most recently, he served with Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency and deployed to Laos as a linguist and interpreter.
 
Ashore, he served at Naval Security Group Activity Hawaii, Center for Information Dominance Unit Monterey and Recruit Training Command.
 
Heise assumed duties as Information Warfare Training Command Monterey’s senior enlisted leader in December 2024.
 
His military decorations include the Air Medal (four awards), Joint Meritorious Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), and various campaign and unit awards. He holds a Master Training Specialist certificate and is designated a specialist in enlisted air and information warfare.
