Lieutenant Commander William Pacl

Lt. Cmdr. William Pacl enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2005 and earned his commission in 2013 through the Seaman to Admiral-21 Program. He graduated in 2011 from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in physics and in 2019 from the University of Texas in Arlington with a master’s degree in public administration.

At sea, he served aboard USS Alabama (SSBN 731) (GOLD) and USS Jimmy Carter (SSN 23).

His shore assignments include Trident Training Facility (TTF) Bangor and Submarine Group 9.

He reported to TTF Bangor as executive officer in December 2024.

Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
